Mel Allen is an honors graduate of Mimar Sinan Fine Arts University, one of the most prestigious institutions in Turkey. Before moving to Texas, she lived in Istanbul, a place that deeply shaped her creative spirit and artistic voice. Now based in Texas, Mel’s artistic journey began with oil on canvas, expressive works rich in texture, soul, and storytelling. But over time, even the largest canvases couldn’t contain her evolving vision.

But behind the paintbrush, Mel is more than an artist. She is a devoted wife, and also a grieving mother. After the loss of her baby Atlas, painting became her anchor. Her murals are not just expressions of beauty. They are offerings of healing, presence, and soul. MelloraMural was born from a promise to honor her son and bring more beauty and meaning into the world, one wall at a time.

Mel is the founder of MelloraMural, where she blends her fine arts background with a love for nature, poetry, and human connection. Her murals are not cartoon-like or illustrative. Each piece is timeless, deeply personal, and designed to feel like it belongs to the heart of the space.

Her passion eventually spilled onto walls, turning ordinary spaces into immersive dreamscapes.
